Inter-Subjective Therapy
Dr. Copeland leads individual adults, adolescent boys and high-level athletes in a moderate to long-term, inter-subjective treatment, a highly effective approach that helps his patients gain insight, emotional awareness and the ability to resolve difficult and recurring issues.

Meet Dr. Copeland
Dr. Mark Copeland, License # PSY18589
Mark B. Copeland, Ph.D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with more than seventeen years of clinical experience. He received an MPhil and PhD from Columbia University, an MA from Pepperdine University and a BA from UCLA. He worked in New York at a college counseling center, as well as Bellevue Mental Hospital before returning to Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles he has worked at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, a community mental health center and at UCLA's Student Psychological Services. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association. Dr. Copeland focuses on the treatment of adults, adolescent boys and high-level high school, college and professional athletes.
Dr. Copeland is a former college and professional athlete, a husband and father of three.
